vWF Polymer Latent-Space Analysis under Shear Flow

Developing scientific machine learning models to learn compact latent representations of vWF polymer chain conformations from simulation data. The central question: does the globular-state latent geometry predict whether a chain will extend under shear flow?

Pipeline includes MD-style trajectory generation, feature extraction, autoencoder training, and latent-space clustering analysis.

Techno-Economic Analysis of Rural Micro-Energy Systems

Comprehensive techno-economic analysis of a rural micro-energy system, focused on optimal sizing and cost modeling of distributed energy assets. Evaluated system configurations based on performance, capital cost, operating expenses, and long-term sustainability metrics.

Pyrolytic System for Liquid Smoke Production

Designed a pyrolytic system for liquid smoke production, including process parameter selection, thermal operating conditions, and overall system layout. Emphasized process efficiency, controllability, and product quality. Considerations included feedstock handling, temperature regulation, vapor condensation, and operational safety.

Advanced Biomass Cookstove & Ground-Source Heat Pump Analysis

Developed a metallic Tier-3 biomass cookstove for cooking and space heating, prioritizing thermal efficiency, emissions reduction, and durability. In parallel, performed analytical evaluation of a ground-source heat pump system to assess feasibility and performance for residential heating.

Experimental Energy & Mechanical System Prototypes

Designed and built multiple experimental prototypes to explore alternative energy and mechanical systems:

  • Compressed air energy storage laboratory setup
  • Parabolic solar Stirling engine prototype
  • Pedal-operated pond water cleaning system

Each prototype supported hands-on experimentation, performance evaluation, and iterative design improvement.
